For BTO owners who have collected your keys, congratulations!
Your next step in your home journey is to get a defects checker / do a defects check on your unit and submit it to BSC in the next 30 days.
After identifying the defects, you will then need to get the BSC officer to come down for the joint inspection.

Purpose of Joint Inspection
The joint inspection with BSC is a simple and stress-free process.
The BSC officer will walk through the defects with you and arrange for the relevant subcontractors to handle them.
When defects are checked by professionals, these are common issues that BSC is already familiar with, and the clear labelling helps make the inspection smooth and worry-free.
What to Expect During Your Joint Inspection
When the BSC officer arrives, the process is quick and straightforward, usually taking about 10–15 minutes.
Simply inform the officer that the defects have been marked with stickers and hand over the completed defect form. The officer will do a brief walk-through to review the key items.
Once confirmed, you’ll be informed that everything is in order, and the rectification works will typically be completed within 14 days.
Can I still access my home during the 14-day rectification period?
Yes, you can.
You will usually still have access to your unit during this period. Feel free to visit your home to check on the rectification progress and ensure the works meet your expectations.
